Water, Tea, and coffee will be available at all times.

Accomodations
The Retreat land offers camping only, either in a tent or vehicle.  There are no RV hookups.  Your camping gear should be adequate for nighttime temps in the 40's and rain.  Bring flashlights and mosquito repellent. We do have hot showers, flush toilets and an outdoor sink.  Other lodgings can be found in the town of Grants, Cimarron Rose B&B, and Inscription Rock Trading Post cabins.
The land is just below 8,000 ft in altitude which can take some adjustment.  It is helpful to stay well hydrated.
there is no internet or land line access on the retreat land and limited cell phone reception.

Children
Please let us know if you plan to bring children.  Those under 13 years may attend with only a small fee to cover meals.  Children must be supervised inside and outside of the shrine room at all times.

We do not allow pets or smoking.  No fires may be started.

Texts
Vairotsana Foundation will have texts for you to borrow during the retreat.  Cushions are provided, but you may bring your own.  Space will likely be tight so consideration for others will be key.

Tsok
There will be Tsok practice each afternoon.  If you wish to bring food offerings take them to the kitchen deck when you arrive where they will be kept safely.  You may also make a monetary contribution as your offering when you check in.  Or any time.

This could look like assisting in the kitchen, helping with pre retreat set up and post retreat clean-up. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Karma Yoga
Doing work in service to the three jewels is an important method for accumulating merit and is considered a part of our practice.  Everyone who does not already have a 'job' will be assigned a chore when you check in. Of course, it will be in consideration of your capacities; the chore schedule will be posted and instruction available.
